About Me

Biography
I’m a writer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I primarily write fiction and am working on publishing my debut novel! I am currently querying a YA fantasy novel while simultaneously writing a YA Sci-Fi dystopian novel. By day, I ride and train horses and am hoping to one day write an ~accurate~ fiction story set in the horse world. It's more of a back-burner project, but we'll get there in due time.
I am deeply passionate about helping animals, from marine mammals to foster dogs to horses. I have a GSD, Buddy, and had a lab cross for 15 years, Ralfie, who passed away in 2025. He shows up in much of my work.
My writing approach to novels is to crime board the story. Sometimes, it's all at once, and sometimes in phases. Often, it is at 3 am when I have awoken with the entire plot for the rest of the novel and look like a deranged, fluffy cat scribbling it all down and mumbling nonsense to Buddy, who listens intently while intermittently chucking a toy at me.
Literary Focus
My focus has largely been on Young Adult fiction. I enjoy crafting stories in the realm of fantasy, dystopian, and Sci-Fi. Basically, I like making shit up. In my poetry, I am brutally honest and vulnerable. Poetry is where I go to explore my big feelings. My poems lean more narrative than poetic. And I have been known to name-drop while being overly sappy.
Creative Philosophy
I think fiction is a great place for people to explore topics and feelings they otherwise wouldn't engage with. It's an opportunity to connect and learn. It's also fun to play god.
Published Works
My books have been published internationally and featured in literary reviews, cultural journals, and independent media. I write both long-form fiction and essay collections, balancing storytelling with reflection and personal insight.
